"[On the GDS side,] we can do tests and advise agencies if users like the requested function or not. [As such, agile prevents agencies from] overinvesting and help them to better understand which functions are really necessary," Lim explained.

GDS has definitely made headway in providing reliable, functional user-friendly digital government services. For instance, GDS has worked with the Municipal Services Office to develop the OneService app to allow residents to easily report municipal issues. Instead of having to guess which agency to report a municipal matter to, residents can simply take a photo of the issue and include a description in the app. The feedback will then be sent to the relevant agencies to take the necessary actions.
